Laura Avery grew up in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Arkansas in 2008. During her time as a student, Laura was a violinist in the University Symphony Orchestra. She studied creative writing abroad at the National University of Ireland in Galway.
Laura attended law school at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. While she was a student, Laura clerked for Judge Jay Finch in Benton County and worked at a personal injury law firm in Springdale. She was a member of the Food Law and Policy Journal, Inn of Courts, and the Board of Advocates.
Laura's philosophy when it comes to practicing law is that every case is important. She is dedicated to finding practical solutions for her clients and explaining complex legal concepts in a way that is easy to understand.
